Why these permissions exist
GrabAll requests page access and scripting to inspect pages you choose to scan for file links and media. Tabs access supports selected-tab Mass Scan, downloads access saves chosen files, and storage keeps extension state in the browser.
The Side Panel permission supports the optional panel interface on browsers that provide it. Browser-internal pages and other protected destinations can still disallow scanning even when the extension is installed.
Local extension data
Scan Results, Saved links, settings, and Analytics stay in your browser profile. These records are separate from an online account and do not contain an offline copy of every discovered source file.
Resetting extension data or removing the browser profile can remove those records. Use Settings > Data to export selected categories before a browser move or reset.
When GrabAll connects to a site
Scanning and previews can request resources from the webpage or file host; downloading a selected file connects to that host. License activation checks the key online. These actions are different from an automatic upload of your scan list to GrabAll.
A support message is sent through a form provider only when you submit the Support form. Optional technical debug details are included only when you choose that option; the form tells you what it adds.
