Troubleshoot scans and downloads

Try the quickest checks before starting over.

Files are missing from a scan

Load more of the webpage first: scroll, open the relevant gallery, and allow lazy-loaded content to appear. Scan again, then reset display filters. A file with unknown size or dimensions can disappear when a numeric filter is active.

Check Settings > Downloads for excluded image formats, custom extensions, or the 1 × 1 pixel option. A site may keep files behind a login, temporary URL, or protected player; GrabAll can only list resources exposed to the browser during the scan.

Download or preview is blocked

Refresh the source page and scan again to replace expired links. Check the browser downloads list for a blocked or incomplete request. A host may reject direct downloads or require the same signed-in session that showed the page.

A preview may fail even if the link is visible, because the host blocks cross-site loading or the browser cannot render that format. Try the file individually to learn whether the issue affects one result or the whole selection.

A page cannot be scanned

Browser settings pages, extension pages, and some protected destinations do not allow injected scans. Navigate to an ordinary HTTP or HTTPS webpage and try Scan this page again.

For a Mass Scan, remove tabs that cannot be scanned from the selection. If a URL-list scan contributes no files, confirm that the supplied page URL is valid and accessible, then check the combined Scan Results entry.

Still need help?

Use Dashboard > Support or the website contact page. Include the page URL if safe to share, your browser, the action you tried, and what happened. A short sequence of steps helps us reproduce the issue.

The Support form can optionally include technical debug details. Do not include passwords, payment card details, or a full license key in your message.

Include debug info is selected by default in the extension Support form. If you leave it selected, your message includes the time, extension version, browser and operating system, interface language and how it was chosen, Premium status, dark mode and style, counts of Saved items and saved scans, and the total number of downloaded files. It does not include browsing history, file URLs, or your license key. Clear the checkbox to send only what you enter in the form.
